HOLLYWOOD, CA (September 23, 2008) - World famous Shrapnel Records finally releases catalog for downloads on iTunes. Shrapnel Records is best known as a guitar-oriented record label which was started in 1980 by record producer Mike Varney.

Shrapnel Records helped launch dozens of careers for many technically adept guitarists such as Vinnie Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine, Paul Gilbert, Bruce Bouillet, Joey Tafolla, Jason Becker, Phantom Blue, Greg Howe, Richie Kotzen and Marty Friedman to name a few.
